Regardless of rain, I hope to keep the momentum going.
Back to plans; ink is not going to work out on the prepared substrate and now I'm back to hedging. I stopped bitching in my mind about 10 minutes ago and the final decision is oils on collaged paper. What develops after that will be on small wooden canvases. Bridging the gap is fun sometimes. When I finally arrive in comfort and courage in bold strokes, building bridges will not seem so hard. As for Boreal Hail Ring, I'm putting it aside. What I learn from these smaller pieces will feed the grinder when I head back to The Ring. At least I'm hoping so. It was getting staid and in a malaise. Nothing was challenging the eye or requiring of the viewer. I'm not trying to build a fight, but I'm not read to build a series in many pencil strokes for meditation. Besides, that last one begs to be photographed again.
Today I prepared for the journey, Tomorrow I take the first steps.
Hungry and laughing in the dark.
